I’m currently hiring for a Head of Delivery on behalf of a client.
They are a small, fast-growing start-up building sustainable datacentres. Backed by a leading energy provider, they already have multiple datacentre sites live in the UK and are now expanding internationally. With a lean team, this role is critical in shaping how delivery, datacentre execution, and project management are run across the business.
They are looking for someone from a construction project management background with experience delivering end-to-end datacentre or critical infrastructure projects, from early-stage development through to construction and handover.
The Role
This is a hands-on leadership role in a small team, owning delivery and project management across a portfolio of datacentre projects. You will build and lead the delivery function, while remaining close to the detail across all stages of project management and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end delivery of datacentre construction projects
* Own and develop delivery processes within a growing start-up environment
* Drive strong project management standards across all datacentre programmes
* Manage contractors, consultants, and partners to ensure successful delivery
* Oversee procurement, contracts (NEC/JCT), risk, and reporting
* Support projects from feasibility through to construction, commissioning, and handover
Requirements
* Proven experience in delivery and project management within construction especially early stage development.
* Background in datacentre/ energy/ utilies/ power or critical infrastructure projects
* Strong commercial and contract management experience
* Comfortable working in a small team with a hands-on approach to delivery and project management
