Project Manager (Construction, Client Side)
A long-established, family-owned consultancy practice in Cheshire is looking to appoint a Project Manager to support a growing portfolio of construction projects across the North West.
This is a client-side consultancy role offering exposure to a varied mix of residential developments, commercial schemes, hospitality projects, and fit-out works. The business manages projects from initial feasibility through to completion, providing programme management, project delivery oversight, and strategic client advice throughout the full project lifecycle.
The position would suit either:
* An Assistant or Intermediate Project Manager looking to step into a broader client-side role, or
* A more experienced Project Manager seeking greater autonomy within a close-knit consultancy environment.
The Role
You will be involved in:
* Managing projects from inception through to completion
* Coordinating clients, consultants, and contractors
* Programme management and project reporting
* Monitoring project budgets, timelines, and quality standards
* Supporting procurement and contract administration activities
* Managing stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
* Consultancy or client-side Project Management experience is essential
* Strong organisational and client-facing skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Good understanding of construction delivery and reporting
* Commercial awareness and contract knowledge would be advantageous
Salary & Package
* Salary up to £70,000
