Project Quantity Surveyor (Mechanical and Electrical)

Our Client is a well run and expanding 2nd Tier Contractor whom are looking for a experienced Mechanical and Electrical Quantity Surveyor to help deliver a long term framework of construction based new build and refurbishment projects in the commercial, residential and government sectors. Project typically £1million to £15 million. This is genuinely great place to work with excellent working environment.

The ideal candidate will already be working in a similar quantity surveying role on the Mechanical amd Electrical side. This is an exceptional role with an exciting company and not just about pricing but meeting clients and stakeholders on a regular basis.

As an Quantity Surveyor you will have strong process driven experience, and take responsibility for:

Preparation of detailed mechanical and electrical estimates across a range of projects
Take-offs and pricing for HVAC, pipework, plant, and associated mechanical services
Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors.
Creating cost plans, value engineering options, and tender submissions.
Helping with project bids.
Helping manage Quality delivery.
Variations About You

Good experience as within building services or construction.
Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems and installation methods
Experience of working with drawings, specifications, and estimating software
