Street Works Supervisor – Hertford

We are currently looking for an experienced Street Works Supervisor to start immediately on a long-term project in Hertford.

This role is ideal for a hands-on supervisor with strong experience in street works and groundworks, who is confident leading a small gang while also working alongside the team on site.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for:
• Supervising a gang of 3–4 operatives on site
• Ensuring works are carried out safely and efficiently
• Working alongside the team and assisting with daily site duties
• Coordinating street works and maintaining site organisation
• Monitoring health & safety procedures at all times
• Liaising with site management and other contractors
• Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and on schedule

Requirements:

✔ Previous experience as a Street Works Supervisor
✔ Valid NRSWA Street Works Supervisor Card
✔ SSSTS or SMSTS preferred
✔ CSCS Card
✔ Strong knowledge of street works and groundworks
✔ Ability to lead a team while remaining hands-on
✔ Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
✔ Full PPE
