Mid-Level Quantity Surveyor
Data Centre Project in West Dublin
Your day-to-day will include:
• Working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary project team across major data centre developments.
• Supporting the commercial delivery of Mechanical, Electrical, and CSA (Civil, Structural & Architectural) project packages.
• Taking ownership of assigned work scopes and delivering tasks to a high professional standard.
• Measuring from drawings and isometrics to produce detailed and accurate bills of quantities, including labour and material assessments.
• Preparing construction take-offs, cost plans, and supporting cost monitoring throughout the project lifecycle.
• Tracking project costs, labour hours, variations, and earned-value progress.
• Assisting with monthly valuations, cost reports, certifications, and cash flow forecasts.
• Preparing subcontractor assessments, payment certificates, and pay-less notices in line with Construction Act requirements.
• Supporting the procurement and commercial management of subcontract packages through to final account.
• Working closely with project delivery, engineering, procurement, and commercial teams to support successful project execution.
• Supporting risk management activities and helping protect the business from commercial exposure.
• Continuing to develop technical and commercial knowledge across Quantity Surveying, MEP, and CSA disciplines.
What our client is looking for:
• 3–7 years of Quantity Surveying experience within construction, engineering, infrastructure, or mission-critical projects.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project costs, subcontractors, and contract administration.
• Experience within data centres, large-scale construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects is highly desirable.
• Mechanical & Electrical project experience is advantageous; however, our client will also consider candidates with Civils / CSA (Civil, Structural & Architectural) experience.
• Good understanding of construction contracts, valuations, variations, and cost reporting.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline preferred.
