Setting Out Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer for a major substation project at Bicker Fen, Lincolnshire. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy site team on a high-profile infrastructure project with an immediate start available.
Responsibilities
* Setting out and surveying works across the project.
* Establishing and maintaining site control points.
* Producing and checking as-built surveys.
* Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with project specifications and drawings.
* Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and design teams.
* Maintaining accurate records and survey data.
* Supporting quality assurance and site documentation requirements.
Requirements
* Proven experience working as a Setting Out Engineer on civil engineering, infrastructure, energy, or substation projects.
* Competent using surveying equipment including GPS and robotic total stations.
* Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
* CSCS card (essential).
* Relevant engineering qualification preferred.
* Full UK driving licence.
* NG Persons ticket (Essential)
Rates & Overtime
* Saturday: Time and a half (£600 per day equivalent)
* Sunday: Double time (£800 per day equivalent)
* Long hours available subject to project requirements.
