M&E Quantity Surveyor – Main Contractor

A highly respected Main Contractor is seeking an M&E Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team in Central London.

The business has built an outstanding reputation for delivering prestigious projects across the commercial office, luxury hotel, prime residential and heritage sectors. Their portfolio includes high-end commercial offices for blue-chip clients, 5-star hotel developments, exclusive residential schemes and complex listed building refurbishments.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured projects, they are looking to appoint an ambitious M&E Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of major projects across London.

Responsibilities

* Commercial management of Mechanical & Electrical packages.

* Procurement and management of specialist subcontractors.

* Cost reporting and forecasting.

* Valuations and subcontractor payments.

* Management of variations and change control.

* Support with final accounts.

* Risk identification and commercial reporting.

* Working closely with project and design teams.

Requirements

* Previous experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor.

* Experience working for a Main Contractor, M&E Contractor or specialist subcontractor.

* Strong understanding of Mechanical and Electrical building services.

* Knowledge of JCT contracts.

* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
