Salary/Benefits: £26k – £36k + Training & Benefits
Our client is a well-established Water Treatment / Water Hygiene outfit, with a UK-wide presence and strong reputation. Due to recent company growth, they are seeking a hardworking and experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to join their team in the North Western region. The role is covering local contracts, spanning commercial and local authority premises. Experience / Qualifications:
– Proven track record working as a Water Hygiene Engineer
– Strong industry knowledge, including: ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
– It would be advantageous to hold any industry-related training courses / qualifications
– Ideally will have experience with Cooling Towers
– Hardworking work ethic
– Good IT, literacy and numeracy skills
The Role:
– Showerhead descales
– Flushing on little used outlets
– CWST inspections, cleans and disinfections
– Calorifier inspections
– TMV servicing
– Cooling tower cleans and disinfections
– Water sampling and temperature monitoring
– Travelling across the North West of England to a mixed portfolio commercial and local authority sites
– Using a PDA to complete reports and company documents
– Working to agreed deadlines
