PSR Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Safety, Health & Environmental Advisor on behalf of a leading construction contractor with a strong pipeline of work across London and the South East.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor delivering a diverse range of projects across the commercial, fit-out, education, healthcare, residential and heritage sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving health, safety and environmental standards across multiple live construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

Promote a positive health, safety and environmental culture across projects and the wider supply chain.
Carry out regular site inspections, audits and compliance reviews.
Review and monitor Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
Support project teams with SHE advice, guidance and best practice.
Assist in incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Deliver toolbox talks, site briefings and SHE training where required.
Monitor environmental performance and ensure compliance with company procedures and legislation.
Support external audits and inspections.
Ensure project SHE documentation is maintained and up to date.
Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, clients and regulatory bodies.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years' experience in a Health, Safety & Environmental role within construction.
NEBOSH Construction Certificate (essential).
CSCS Card.
Experience carrying out site audits, inspections and investigations.
Strong understanding of UK health, safety and environmental legislation.
Experience delivering training and toolbox talks.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable

IOSH Membership.
NEBOSH Fire Certificate.
Temporary Works knowledge.
Scaffolding Inspection qualification.
Mental Health First Aid.
Experience working on major construction or fit-out projects.
