The Senior Quantity Surveyor Role

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for leading projects through all stages of the development lifecycle, providing both strategic and technical Cost Management services.

Key responsibilities include:

Delivering full pre and post contract Quantity Surveying services
Preparing detailed cost plans and feasibility estimates
Managing procurement and tender processes
Administering construction contracts
Producing cost reports and financial updates for clients
Managing variations and final accounts
Leading client meetings and stakeholder engagement
Supporting and mentoring junior surveying staff

The Senior Quantity Surveyor

The consultancy is seeking a confident and technically capable Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong consultancy background.

Requirements:

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
Previous consultancy Quantity Surveying experience
Strong pre and post contract expertise
Experience managing projects independently
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
MRICS qualified or actively working towards chartership
Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
