The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join a growing and dynamic business. Reporting directly to the Group Head of Health & Safety, you will play a key role in supporting project teams, driving safety performance and promoting a positive health and safety culture across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide health and safety support across multiple live construction projects.

* Conduct regular site inspections, audits and compliance reviews.

* Advise project teams on current legislation, industry standardsand best practice.

* Support pre construction and operational teams with risk management and project planning.

* Review and assist in the preparation of RAMS, Construction Phase Plans, and other project-specific safety documentation.

* Investigate incidents, near misses and non-conformances, implementing corrective actions where required.

* Monitor subcontractor compliance and safety performance.

* Deliver toolbox talks, briefings and safety related training.

* Promote behavioural safety initiatives and help drive continuous improvement.

* Liaise with clients, consultants and external stakeholders as required.

* Produce safety reports and performance metrics for senior management.

Candidate Requirements/Essential:

* Previous experience as a Health & Safety Manager or Senior Health & Safety Advisor within a main contractor environment.

* Demonstrable experience delivering commercial office fit out and refurbishment projects.

* Strong background working on CAT A fit-out, cut-and-carve and refurbishment schemes.

* Excellent knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and CDM Regulations.

* Experience conducting audits, inspections, and incident investigations.

* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

* NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent).
