Site Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a Tier 1 Main Contractor on a short-term project commencing tomorrow. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive engineer to support site operations on a fast-paced construction project for an initial three-week contract.

Key Responsibilities

* Setting out and surveying works in accordance with project drawings and specifications.

* Ensuring all works are delivered to the required quality standards.

* Managing and maintaining accurate site records.

* Producing and reviewing as-built information.

* Supporting subcontractors and site management teams.

* Conducting quality inspections and ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements.

* Assisting with site documentation, permits, and progress reporting.

Requirements

* Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering and/or construction projects.

* Competent in the use of surveying equipment including GPS and robotic total stations.

* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

* CSCS card (essential).

* SMSTS or SSSTS (desirable).

* Strong communication and organisational skills.

* Full UK driving licence preferred.
