A Manchester-based construction consultancy is seeking a Project Manager to join its growing team and deliver a diverse range of projects across the North West. The successful Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects from inception through to completion, working closely with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure successful outcomes. This Project Manager role is ideal for a Project Manager looking for greater responsibility and exposure to a varied project portfolio. The Project Manager will play a key role in maintaining client relationships whilst ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

The Project Manager's role

The Project Manager will lead projects through all stages of delivery and act as a trusted advisor to clients.

Responsibilities will include:

Managing projects from feasibility through to completion
Acting as the primary point of contact for clients
Coordinating consultants, contractors and stakeholders
Managing project programmes, risks and budgets
Undertaking Project Management, Employer's Agent and Contract Administration duties where required
Preparing client reports and project documentation
Chairing project meetings and monitoring project progress
Managing procurement processes and consultant appointments
Supporting the development of existing client relationships

The Project Manager

The successful Project Manager will have:

Previous construction consultancy experience
Experience delivering construction projects from inception to completion
Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
Knowledge of Contract Administration and/or Employer's Agent duties
Degree qualified in Project Management, Construction Management, Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
Chartered status or working towards MRICS, MCIOB, MAPM or equivalent
Strong organisational and communication skills
A proactive and professional approach to project delivery
