QAQC Engineer – Data Centre – Finland

Our client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector.

We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced QAQC Engineer to join their team. This position will be based on-site in Espoo, Finland.

Responsibilities

* CSA Quality Assurance & Compliance Management

Lead all Civil, Structural & Architectural QA/QC activities across site works, ensuring full compliance with project specifications, Dutch building regulations, and client standards. Implement and maintain inspection and test plans (ITPs), ensuring all hold points and witness points are strictly adhered to and properly documented.

* Site Inspection & Defect Management

Conduct regular on-site inspections of CSA works including concrete, structural steel, waterproofing, and architectural finishes, proactively identifying non-conformances and driving timely close-out of defects. Maintain a robust snagging and de-snagging process aligned with programme milestones and handover requirements.

* Quality Documentation & Reporting

Manage and maintain all QA/QC documentation including method statements, material approvals, inspection records, and as-built records. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of quality metrics, NCRs, and progress updates to senior project and client teams in line with Tier 1 reporting standards.

* Subcontractor Quality Oversight & Coordination

Monitor and enforce quality performance of CSA subcontractors, ensuring works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and ITPs. Provide clear technical direction on-site while coordinating with engineering and construction teams to resolve quality issues efficiently.

* Commissioning & Handover Readiness Support

Support phased completion and handover processes by ensuring all CSA works are completed to a ‘right first time’ standard, fully tested, and documented. Collaborate with project teams to ensure seamless transition into commissioning phases and successful client handover without quality snags or delays.

Requirements

Must have relevant degree level qualification or equivalent trades background

Must have 6+ years previous experience in a similar role on Data Centres or similar large scale construction projects

EU Passport is preferred
