Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor

Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor – Whitehaven/Remote – £450 – £500/day

Immediate start available for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support a specialist engineering contractor delivering a £35m package on a major nuclear project.

This isn't a traditional project QS role. The focus is on looking back through historic records, identifying missed compensation events, reviewing contractual entitlements and uncovering areas where cost and value may not have been fully captured under an NEC3 Option C contract.

Ideal for someone with good NEC expertise, a strong eye for detail and experience of helping to turn projects around and negotiating final accounts.

* Must have civil engineering and/or industrial M&E experience

* Primarily home-based

* Minimum 6-month contract

* £450/£500 per day

* Outside IR35
