Employing more than 100 staff, they have successfully delivered an impressive portfolio of landmark developments across the capital, including a state-of-the-art mixed-use scheme in Soho and the UK launch of an internationally recognised hotel brand.
The Role
Due to continued growth and a healthy pipeline of upcoming projects, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a hands-on Estimator to join the pre-construction team.
You will play a key role in the estimating process across a range of projects, working closely with the design and delivery teams to ensure accurate cost planning and competitive tender submissions.
This is a hands-on position, ideal for an experienced estimator who enjoys being actively involved in the details while also contributing to strategic tendering and business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for design & build projects across multiple sectors

Lead the tender process, including take-offs, pricing, and bid submissions
*
Collaborate with design, project management, and commercial teams during pre-construction stages
*
Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving measures
*
Assess and manage risks throughout the estimating process
*
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, suppliers, and subcontractor pricing
*
Mentor junior estimators and contribute to continuous improvement within the pre-construction department
About You
*
Proven experience as an Estimator within a main contractor environment
*
Strong background in Design & Build and pre-construction across various sectors (Commercial, Residential, Hospitality, Mixed-Use)
*
Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with strong attention to detail
*
Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously under tight deadlines
*
Proficient with estimating software and Excel
*
Strong communication and negotiation skills
*
A collaborative team player with a proactive, hands-on approach
