Architectural Technologist
A forward-thinking, medium-sized architectural practice based in Leeds City Centre is looking to appoint an ambitious Architectural Technologist to join its growing Residential team.

The Role
As an Architectural Technologist, you will join an established Residential team working on a range of new-build developments including care homes, retirement living apartments, and sheltered accommodation schemes.
You will be involved in the delivery of two major new-build care home projects alongside a portfolio of retirement living and sheltered housing developments. Working across all RIBA Stages 0–7, you will gain exposure to the full project lifecycle, from initial feasibility and concept design through to technical delivery, construction, and completion.
This is a fast-paced role requiring strong technical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary project teams. You will assist with the production of technical drawing packages, coordinate information with consultants, support planning and building regulations submissions, and contribute to successful project delivery on site.
What We're Looking For
The successful candidate will ideally have:
3–5 years' experience within an architectural practice
Experience working on residential projects, ideally including care, retirement living, housing or similar sectors
Strong working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing
Proficiency in Revit
Good technical and drawing production skills
Experience working across multiple RIBA stages
Strong communication and coordination skills
A collaborative approach and willingness to learn and develop
CIAT membership, or working towards Chartership, would be advantageous
