Maintenance Engineer

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Location: London

Contract Rate: Up to £26.00 Self Employed

Job Type: Contract leading to potential Full-Time position

Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance tasks unsupervised
Diagnose and repair faults on electrical and mechanical building systems
Ensure all work is completed to high standards and in line with health & safety regulations
Work on the following systems and equipment:
HVAC systems and AHUs
Lighting systems (testing, repairs)
Fire alarms and emergency lighting
Water temperature testing (L8 compliance)
Pumps, motors, actuators, and generators
3-phase power supply and UPS systems
Basic awareness of heating systems (pipework, heat exchangers)Requirements
· Minimum 3 years experience in building services or facilities maintenance
· City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical
· 17th or 18th Edition (preferred)
· Strong fault-finding skills
· Good communication and interpersonal skills – client-facing role
· Able to work independently and manage own workload
