An established and growing construction business is seeking two Site Quantity Surveyors to join its London team. These positions offer the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of high-profile construction projects across Central London, supporting successful project delivery from a commercial and contractual perspective.
The Role
As a Site Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management of live construction projects, working closely with operational teams to ensure costs are effectively controlled, risks are managed, and project value is maximised throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the commercial aspects of construction projects from procurement through to final account settlement.
Prepare, review, negotiate, and administer subcontract packages.
Monitor project costs, valuations, forecasts, and financial performance.
Identify, assess, and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
Prepare and submit applications for payment while supporting effective cash flow management.
Manage variations, change control procedures, and associated commercial negotiations.
Work collaboratively with site and project teams to ensure accurate cost reporting and programme alignment.
Support dispute avoidance and assist with the resolution of commercial issues when required.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
About You
Previous experience in a Quantity Surveyor or Site Quantity Surveyor position within the construction industry.
Strong understanding of commercial management on live construction projects.
Working knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts.
Proven experience managing subcontractors and controlling project costs.
Strong commercial awareness with excellent numerical and analytical skills.
Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Well organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
