Experienced Shot Blaster (Temp to Perm)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Shot Blaster to join a busy and well-established engineering environment in Tameside. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for a candidate with proven shot blasting experience who is looking for long-term employment with a growing business.
Key Responsibilities

Carrying out shot blasting and glass blasting of steel products
Preparing and restoring a variety of components including:
Vessels
Frames
Plates
Other fabricated steel products
Ensuring finished products meet quality standards
Working safely and efficiently within a workshop environment
Following company health and safety procedures at all times Essential Requirements

Previous and proven experience in shot blasting is essential
Experience of glass blasting is essential
Experience working on stainless steel fabrications such as vessels, frames and plates
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality Desirable Skills (Not Essential)

Counterbalance FLT Licence
Overhead Crane Licence What's on Offer
