Danny Sullivan Group is recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading UK civil engineering and infrastructure contractor delivering major projects across the water, transport, energy and built environment sectors.

The Role

As Site Engineer, you will be responsible for providing engineering support across civil engineering projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with design specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Establish and maintain survey and level control while setting out works in line with drawings and specifications.

* Carry out regular checks to ensure the accuracy of setting out and construction activities.

* Maintain site records, engineering documentation, site diaries and allocation sheets in line with project requirements.

* Resolve technical issues on site and support the delivery team with practical engineering solutions.

* Produce procurement schedules, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), task briefings and short-term look-ahead programmes.

* Ensure works are delivered safely, compliantly and to the required quality standards while identifying value engineering opportunities where possible.

Requirements

Essential

* Previous setting out experience on civil engineering or infrastructure projects.

* Strong understanding of construction methods, health & safety legislation and industry regulations.

* Proficient in the use of robotic total stations and EDM equipment.

* Degree, HNC or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering.

* Excellent communication skills with a proactive and results-driven approach.

Desirable

* Experience using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

* Temporary Works, CSCS Card, Cable Avoidance, First Aid, NEBOSH or IOSH qualifications.
