This Project Manager role would suit a confident and client-facing Project Manager who is comfortable taking ownership of projects from inception through to completion. The Project Manager will work closely with clients, consultants and contractors, leading project teams and ensuring successful delivery across all stages of the project lifecycle. You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

The Project Manager's role

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing commercial construction projects through both pre and post-contract stages.

Key responsibilities will include:

Acting as the lead Project Manager on commercial developments
Managing projects from feasibility through to completion and handover
Coordinating multidisciplinary consultant and contractor teams
Leading client meetings and stakeholder engagement activities
Developing and maintaining project programmes
Monitoring project costs, risks and overall performance
Managing procurement and tender processes
Overseeing contract administration and project governance
Ensuring statutory approvals and compliance requirements are achieved
Preparing project reports and presenting updates to clients
Managing project delivery to programme, budget and quality objectives

The Project Manager

The successful Project Manager will have:

Previous construction consultancy experience
Strong commercial sector project experience
Experience delivering projects through the full project lifecycle
A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
Experience coordinating consultants and contractor teams
Strong programme and risk management capabilities
Commercial awareness and financial management experience
Chartered status or progress towards MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB or equivalent would be advantageous
A proactive and professional approach to project delivery
