Contracts Manager – Housing Adaptations 📍 Birmingham | Permanent | £55,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance

A well-regarded Housing Association in Birmingham is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to take ownership of their adaptations programme across the city.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll be managing a portfolio of adaptation projects end-to-end — coordinating contractors, controlling budgets, and making sure works are delivered on time and to a high standard. You'll also be the key point of contact for residents, so the ability to build trust and communicate clearly is just as important as the technical side.

What the role involves:

Managing multiple adaptation projects simultaneously across Birmingham
Coordinating and overseeing contractor performance
Budget control, quality assurance, and H&S compliance
Building strong working relationships with residents, internal teams, and delivery partners What they're looking for:

A solid construction background with social housing experience
Experience in aids and adaptations is highly desirable
Proven ability to manage multiple contracts and contractors concurrently
Strong organisational and people skills
Someone who takes initiative and finds solutions rather than problems Package: £55,000 base + £5,000 car allowance.
