Senior Site Engineer – Contract (External Works / QA Focus)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a well-established contractor on a busy project in the Hampshire area.

This role will suit an engineer who is confident working across quality assurance, as-built recording, and site coordination, rather than purely setting out.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out quality checks and inspections across site activities
Managing and producing as-built documentation
Supporting general site management and coordination
Ensuring work is completed in line with project specifications and standards
Liaising effectively with site teams, subcontractors, and management

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Engineer within construction environments / Setting out duties not required
Background in projects external works, fit-out/ Building experience required – Ideally steel frame/ industrial unit experience.
Strong experience with QA processes and reporting
Excellent communication skills and team-focused approach
Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities across site
Ability to order materials
