Are you a seasoned Design/Drawings Manager with strong commercial awareness and experience leading a team of Tekla designers?

The Role
You will lead a team of six designers, allocating resources, forward planning projects, and ensuring the team operates efficiently and cost-effectively. While this role is largely managerial, you will also support hands-on design where required, review drawings, and drive improvements in design processes.

You’ll be responsible for mentoring the team, developing careers, and implementing strategies to maximise both productivity and profitability.

Key Requirements

* Strong commercial awareness and steelwork background

* Proven experience managing and mentoring a design team

* Familiarity with Tekla Structures (advantageous)

* Ability to drive team efficiency and resource planning

* Excellent leadership and people management skills
