Mobile Maintenance Engineer – Midlands Region

£40,000 + Company benefits

Our client is a well-established and growing maintenance contractor delivering planned and reactive maintenance services across a portfolio of industrial sites throughout the Midlands. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a skilled and motivated Mobile Maintenance Engineer to join their field-based team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys variety, autonomy, and working across multiple industrial environments while being fully supported with all the resources needed to succeed. Similar mobile maintenance roles across the Midlands typically offer salaries in the £40,000–£45,000 range alongside company vehicles and equipment packages.

The Role

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across industrial sites

Responding to reactive maintenance and breakdowns

Fault finding, diagnosis and repair of mechanical and electrical systems

Completing maintenance reports and documentation using company-issued devices

Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures

Building strong relationships with site teams and clients

Travelling throughout the Midlands region as required

Requirements

Previous experience within industrial, manufacturing, facilities maintenance or field service environments

Strong fault-finding and maintenance skills

Mechanical or Electrical qualifications advantageous

Ability to work independently and manage your own workload

Full UK Driving Licence

Flexible approach to travel across the Midlands region
