Site Supervisor / Construction Manager

Location: East Anglia (4 days per week on-site)
Rate: £650 per day
Duration: ASAP – December 2026
Hours: 40 hours per week
Travel Expenses: Covered

We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor / Construction Manager to act as the client's on-site representative across civil, M&E, and maintenance projects. You will provide assurance that contractor works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and programme requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor contractor compliance with Health & Safety requirements and conduct site inspections.
Oversee site activities, workmanship, and contractor performance.
Inspect works, witness testing, and identify quality issues or defects.
Track project progress, identify risks or delays, and support recovery plans.
Produce site reports and maintain accurate project records.
Escalate safety, quality, and programme concerns where required.Requirements

Experience in site supervision, construction management, or contractor oversight within infrastructure, utilities, or capital delivery environments.
Good understanding of project delivery from design through construction and commissioning.
Knowledge of construction methods, Health & Safety legislation, quality assurance processes, and drawing interpretation.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Full UK driving licence.Desirable

SMSTS, CSCS, or equivalent qualifications.
NEBOSH Certificate.
Temporary Works or NRSWA accreditation.
