We are currently seeking an experienced MEP Lead to join a major hyperscale data centre project in Milan.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of Europe's leading mission-critical construction specialists, delivering complex data centre projects across the continent.

As MEP Lead, you will take ownership of the Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health delivery on site, leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and driving project performance across safety, quality, programme, procurement and commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage Mechanical and Electrical project teams on site

* Coordinate all MEP activities throughout the project lifecycle

* Drive programme delivery, sequencing and construction planning

* Review designs and propose value engineering solutions to improve efficiency, quality and constructability

* Monitor installation works to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards

* Coordinate with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Site Engineers and subcontractors

* Manage procurement activities and ensure equipment and materials are delivered in line with programme requirements

* Identify design issues, clashes and omissions and coordinate resolutions with the design team

* Ensure the highest standards of Health & Safety are maintained across all MEP activities

* Support commercial teams through change management, cost control and progress reporting

* Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to senior management

Requirements

* Degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering

* Proven experience leading MEP teams on large-scale construction projects

* Strong background delivering Data Centre, Mission Critical, Industrial or Pharmaceutical projects

* Excellent understanding of MEP coordination, procurement, construction sequencing and commissioning

* Strong commercial awareness and project delivery experience

* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment

* Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
