Senior Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer
Location: Northfleet (with flexible working)
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

The Role
As a Senior Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer, you will support and lead a team to deliver multiple projects, ensuring designs meet agreed timescales, budgets, and quality standards. You will play a key role in both technical delivery and team management, contributing to business growth and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support the Mechanical team across multiple projects
* Produce and review schematics, drawings, and designs using AutoCAD/Revit
* Ensure compliance with UK standards, CDM regulations, and best practice
* Carry out and review engineering calculations
* Coordinate designs with other disciplines
* Attend client meetings, workshops, and project reviews
* Manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
* Respond to RFIs and technical queries effectively
* Support business development and identify new opportunities
* Provide line management and performance oversight of team members
About You
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
* ACIBSE (MCIBSE desirable)
* Strong experience in building services design (8+ years or relevant combination)
* Proven project leadership experience
* Advanced knowledge of CAD/Revit and UK design standards
* Excellent communication, organisation, and multitasking skills
* Full UK driving licence (desirable)
