A specialist Building Control and Fire Safety consultancy is seeking an experienced Registered Building Inspector to join its Senior Management Team.

This is a rare opportunity for an RBI Class 3G/3H professional to combine strategic leadership, team management and hands-on Building Control delivery within a growing and highly respected consultancy.

The Role

– Lead and develop a team of Registered Building Inspectors

– Play a key role in business growth and strategic decision-making

– Ensure the delivery of high-quality Building Control and consultancy services

– Manage workload allocation, performance and professional development

– Maintain responsibility for a portfolio of Building Control projects and clients

– Develop and maintain relationships with clients, developers, architects and contractors

Requirements

– Registered Building Inspector (RBI) Class 3G or 3H

– Extensive Building Control experience

– Previous management, leadership or mentoring experience

– Strong commercial awareness and client-facing skills

– Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

– Ability to balance leadership responsibilities with technical delivery
