Our client is a highly regarded London-based commercial fit-out contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering high-profile CAT B workplace environments for prestigious corporate clients across Central London.
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects, they are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of electrical packages on fast-paced, high-quality commercial fit-out projects.
This role offers the opportunity to work on some of London's most impressive workplace developments, managing projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover.
The Role
Reporting to the Electrical Construction Director, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating electrical works across multiple commercial fit-out projects, ensuring delivery to programme, budget, quality and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate electrical works packages, subcontractors and suppliers across multiple CAT B office fit-out projects.
*
Ensure electrical installations are delivered to agreed quality standards, project programmes and client expectations.
*
Review project designs, assess buildability and provide practical, cost-effective electrical solutions.
*
Monitor site activities to ensure high standards of workmanship, health and safety, and site presentation are maintained.
*
Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, consultants, building management teams and client representatives throughout project delivery.
*
Manage technical submissions, approvals, drawings, specifications and project documentation.
*
Attend pre-construction reviews, project kick-off meetings, subcontractor meetings and regular site progress meetings.
*
Oversee procurement activities, purchase orders, cost control and change management processes.
*
Track project performance and produce regular progress and status reports for senior management.
*
Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety legislation, CDM Regulations, Building Regulations and relevant industry standards.

Coordinate commissioning, testing and certification activities.
*
Compile and manage O&M manuals, as-built drawings, test certificates and handover documentation.
*
Ensure projects achieve practical completion with minimal defects and a successful client handover.
Requirements
*
Qualified Electrician with City & Guilds Part 1 & Part 2 (or equivalent electrical qualifications).
*
18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
*
Proven experience managing electrical packages within commercial construction and office fit-out environments.
*
Strong understanding of commercial electrical installation methods and building services coordination.
*
Experience delivering CAT A and CAT B office fit-out projects is highly desirable.
*
Good commercial awareness with the ability to manage procurement, project costs and variations.
*
Strong project management, planning and organisational skills.
*
Ability to effectively manage subcontractors, suppliers and multiple project stakeholders.
*
Good understanding of Health & Safety legislation, CDM Regulations and construction compliance requirements.
*
Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
