Quality Manager

Quality Manager – Data Centre – Linz, Austria

We are currently partnering with a leading Roofing and Cladding Package Contractor who have seen continuous success in the Pharmaceutical and Data Centre sectors across Europe. Due to continuous growth, they are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to look after the Facades and Roofing packages on a Data Centre construction project in Austria.

Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Control

Lead all QA/QC activities across roofing and façade packages, ensuring works are delivered in line with project specifications, approved drawings, and stringent quality standards associated with high-performance building envelope systems.

Inspection & Testing

Develop and implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), carrying out detailed inspections of cladding systems, waterproofing, interfaces, and façade elements to verify compliance, workmanship, and installation sequencing.

Documentation & Compliance

Maintain comprehensive QA documentation including inspection records, checklists, NCRs, and handover dossiers, ensuring full traceability and alignment with project quality procedures and European codes and standards.

Subcontractor Oversight

Monitor subcontractor performance on site, ensuring adherence to approved method statements, installation tolerances, and sequencing, while proactively identifying and resolving quality issues.

Defect Management & Handover

Manage defect identification and close-out processes, supporting snagging, pre-handover inspections, and final quality sign-off to ensure façade and roofing systems meet performance, durability, and aesthetic requirements.

Requirements

Must have 5+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale facades/roofing packages (preferably on Data Centre projects)

Must have relevant degree level qualifications or equivalent trades’ background

Must have Irish PPS number and EU Passport
