About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Project Manager to join our growing drylining and interior fit-out team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple drylining and SFS projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven construction professional with extensive drylining experience to play a key leadership role within a dynamic and expanding business.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee multiple drylining, suspended ceiling, partitioning, SFS and interior fit-out projects.
Manage project programmes, resources, budgets and procurement activities.
Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and client representatives.
Ensure projects are delivered in line with contractual obligations and company standards.
Monitor project performance, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
Conduct regular site visits, progress meetings and client reviews.
Manage project costs, valuations, variations and financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety legislation and company policies.
Prepare and present project reports to senior management.
Support tender reviews and pre-construction planning activities.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and stakeholders.
Mentor and support Project Managers, Site Managers and operational staff.
Essential Requirements
Minimum 8 years' experience within the drylining and interior fit-out sector.
Proven track record of successfully managing projects valued between £1m and £20m+.
Strong understanding of drylining systems, partitions, ceilings, SFS and associated trades.
Excellent commercial awareness and budget management skills.
Strong leadership and people management abilities.
Experience working with main contractors and commercial clients.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software.
Desirable Qualifications
SMSTS Certificate.
CSCS Black Card (Manager).
First Aid at Work.
NVQ Level 6 or above in Construction Management or equivalent.
Relevant construction-related degree or professional qualification.
