Site Engineer

Site Engineer required for a major highways project in Fareham.

We are actively recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor delivering a large-scale highways infrastructure scheme. This is a long-term contract opportunity offering £400–£450 per shift with a minimum 12-month programme and an immediate start on 6th July.

The successful Site Engineer will play a key role in the delivery of highway construction works, managing setting out, quality assurance, subcontractor coordination and technical engineering support across multiple work fronts.

Site Engineer Responsibilities:

* Setting out for highways and civil engineering works

* Managing engineering control and site surveys

* Producing and maintaining QA documentation

* Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical information

* Managing as-built records and site documentation

* Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered to programme

* Supporting Site Managers and Project Managers with technical engineering issues

* Ensuring works are delivered safely and in accordance with project requirements

Site Engineer Requirements:

* Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on highways projects

* Strong setting out experience using GPS and Total Station equipment

* Experience delivering major infrastructure or civil engineering schemes

* Good understanding of QA processes and ITPs

* CSCS Card essential

* HND, Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering preferred

* Ability to work independently and manage multiple work areas
