Site Manager Required in London and Essex

GVR Solutions are currently working alongside a well-established main contractor who are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join them on projects across London and Essex.

As a main contractor they are based in Essex and they specialise in construction and fit-out projects across the Education, Healthcare, Residential, Retail and Commercial sectors.

Duties of the Site Manager:

* Assist other Managers to ensure smooth construction sequences

* Maintain and oversee various trade packages

* Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities.

* Ensure works are completed to programme and quality standards.

* Maintain compliance with all health and safety requirements.

* Liaise with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders throughout the project

The Site Manager must have/be:

* Proven experience delivering refurbishment, extension, new build and renovation projects

* Strong background working for a main contractor

* Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in Site Management

* Ability to oversee day-to-day site operations and subcontractors

* Strong health & safety awareness and site compliance knowledge

* Excellent communication and leadership skills

* SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid at Work

* Experience working across commercial, residential, or public sector projects
