Our client is a well-respected, UK-based construction company specialising in reinforced concrete frames, groundworks, and piling, with an annual turnover exceeding £100 million. Known for delivering both large-scale developments and smaller, technically complex schemes, their portfolio spans commercial and residential projects with values ranging from £5 million to £30 million. With a strong reputation for quality and safety, they continue to grow steadily across London and the Southeast.
About the Role
Due to continued expansion and a growing pipeline of projects, our client is looking to appoint a Health and Safety Manager to join their team. In this role, you will oversee 2 to 3 live sites, ensuring all health and safety standards are maintained across the board. You’ll be involved in the hands-on delivery of health and safety, working closely with project and site teams to uphold best practice.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Implementing the company’s health and safety procedures
* Preparing method statements, risk assessments, and construction phase plans
* Carrying out regular site inspections and audits
* Providing advice and support to site teams to promote a positive safety culture
About the Requirements
* NEBOSH Construction Certificate – essential for this position
* A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a health and safety role within construction
* Background with a civil engineering, infrastructure, or RC Frame & Groundworks contractor
* Strong understanding of UK health and safety legislation and construction site logistics

Salary range: £70,000 – £80,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience)
