Site Manager – Roofing Project (School)
Location: Wakefield
Duration: 6 Weeks
Hours: Monday – Friday, 07:30 – 17:00
Rate: £250-£280

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a 6-week roofing project on a school in Wakefield.

This is a non-working Site Manager position, responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the project, ensuring health & safety compliance, coordinating subcontractors, and maintaining programme. The only hands-on aspect of the role will be operating a forklift to assist with lifting materials onto the roof as required, therefore a valid forklift licence is essential.

Responsibilities

Oversee the roofing works from start to completion.
Manage subcontractors and ensure works are delivered safely and on programme.
Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and maintain health & safety standards.
Liaise with the client, school representatives and project team.
Monitor quality and ensure works are completed to a high standard.
Operate a forklift when required to assist with moving materials onto the roof.

Essential Requirements

SMSTS
CSCS Card
First Aid at Work
Asbestos Awareness
Enhanced DBS Certificate (essential due to working on a live school)
Valid Forklift Licence (essential)
