The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Mechanical Supervisor, Project Engineer, Site Engineer or Tradesperson looking to move into an Estimating career?

We’re working with a growing Mechanical Building Services contractor who is looking for someone with strong mechanical knowledge and the ambition to develop into a Mechanical Estimator.

Previous estimating experience is beneficial but not essential. Full support and training will be provided for the right individual.

Suitable backgrounds include:

* Mechanical Supervisor

* Mechanical Site Engineer

* Mechanical Project Engineer

* HVAC Engineer

* Pipefitter Supervisor

* Mechanical Foreman

* Junior Mechanical Estimator

* Assistant Project Manager

Responsibilities

* Assisting with tender submissions

* Reviewing drawings and specifications

* Obtaining supplier quotations

* Preparing cost estimates

* Working alongside Directors and Project Managers

* Supporting pre-construction activities

Requirements

* Mechanical Building Services experience

* Commercial M&E knowledge

* Strong communication skills

* Keen to develop a career in estimating

* Full UK driving licence preferred
