Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Main Contractor

Assistant Quantity Surveyor – a growing building contractor is searching for a Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a company delivering award-winning projects ranging from £6m to £14m.

In this role you will work on projects from pre-construction stage through to handover working closely with the office and site teams – procuring and managing sub-contractors and agreeing final accounts.

Salary & Package:
– Great basic salary of £35,000 – £40,000

Key Duties:
– Assisting with take-offs to and produce schedules of works
– Assisting with procurement and managing sub-contractors
– Dealing with variations and valuations
– Supporting a Senior QS

Requirements:
– Experience working as a Trainee QS or Assistant QS
– Experience working with a building contractor
– Experience dealing with final accounts
– Industry related qualification

To qualify for the higher rate of pay you must be able to demonstrate a track record as a Assistant Quantity Surveyor delivering construction projects ranging from £3m+
