The Opportunity

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading Facilities Management provider for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee a portfolio of Hard Services contracts across the East of Scotland.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Operations Manager with a strong technical background in Hard FM to join a growing business and play a key role in driving operational performance and client satisfaction.

The Role

Reporting to the senior leadership team, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operational delivery of multiple commercial maintenance contracts, ensuring exceptional service delivery, financial performance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage a portfolio of Hard Services FM contracts.

* Manage Operations Supervisors, Contracts Managers and engineering teams.

* Ensure KPI and SLA targets are consistently achieved.

* Develop and maintain strong client relationships.

* Manage operational budgets and financial performance.

* Drive continuous improvement across service delivery.

* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and statutory legislation.

* Support contract mobilisation and business growth.

* Mentor and develop operational teams.

* Work closely with senior management to achieve business objectives.

About You

We're looking for someone with:

* Proven experience as an Operations Manager within Hard Services Facilities Management.

* Strong Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC or Building Services background.

* Experience managing multiple commercial FM contracts.

* Excellent leadership and people management skills.

* Strong commercial awareness with budget responsibility.

* Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.

Essential Requirements

✔ Extensive Hard Services FM experience
✔ Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC or Building Services background
✔ Experience managing operational teams and commercial contracts
✔ Strong client-facing skills
✔ Full UK Driving Licence
