Site Manager
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in tiles and stone, preferably within commercial or fit-out settings. Our client is a well-established market leader in the stone and ceramic fit-out sector, boasting a £15 million annual turnover and actively growing their team.
Role Summary:
The Site Manager will be responsible for overseeing all on-site operations, ensuring the efficient coordination of supply chain processes, adherence to quality standards, and the implementation of continuous improvement strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction workflows and business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily site operations, including production, assembly, and logistics
* Develop and execute strategies to maximise operational efficiency and output
* Ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation
* Oversee supply chain activities, including inventory management and procurement
* Implement quality control measures to ensure product integrity and customer satisfaction
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
* Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement
* Train and develop staff to enhance their skills and performance
Required Experience & Skills:
* Minimum 2–3 years experience in stone and tilling, within commercial or fit-out projects
* Proven track record in a Site Manager or equivalent leadership role on large construction sites
* Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
* Familiarity with quality control systems and processes
* Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement
* Proficient in business processes and financial management
