Site Engineer
Site Engineer | Civil Engineering | Yorkshire | £40k – £50k + Package
We're currently working with a well-established regional civil engineering contractor to recruit a Site Engineer to support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of highways, infrastructure, environmental and public realm projects across Yorkshire.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing civil engineering business with a strong pipeline of secured work across local authority and public sector frameworks. The role would suit an experienced Site Engineer looking to develop their career within a supportive environment, or an ambitious Engineer ready to take on greater responsibility across multiple projects.
Working closely with the Project Manager and Site Agent, you'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, accurately, on programme and to the highest quality standards.
What You'll Be Doing;
Setting out and surveying highways, infrastructure, environmental and public realm projects
Ensuring works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications and programme
Producing QA documentation, site records and as-built surveys
Coordinating subcontractors and supporting day-to-day site operations
Monitoring quality, health & safety and environmental compliance
Liaising with the project team, clients and key stakeholders throughout delivery
What You'll Need;
Previous experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering
Experience delivering highways, infrastructure, environmental or public realm projects
Competent using GPS and total station surveying equipment
Good understanding of setting out, QA processes and technical drawings
HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering (or similar)
