Senior Quantity Surveyor – Passive Fire Protection Central London | Up to £80,000 + Package
An established and growing specialist contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its Central London team.
Working across a diverse portfolio of Passive Fire Protection projects, you'll take commercial responsibility from pre-construction through to final account, playing a key role in protecting profitability, managing risk and supporting the successful delivery of projects. The Role
* Manage the commercial aspects of multiple Passive Fire Protection projects from award through to final account.
* Prepare, submit and negotiate valuations, applications for payment and final accounts.
* Manage subcontractor procurement, payments and account reconciliation.
* Identify, price and agree variations.
* Monitor project costs, cash flow and forecasting.
* Work closely with operational teams to maximise commercial performance.
* Manage contractual risk and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
* Produce accurate commercial reporting for senior management.
About You
* Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
* Experience within Passive Fire Protection, Fire Doors, Specialist Interiors or a related subcontracting environment is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of JCT contracts and commercial processes.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
* Commercially astute with strong attention to detail.
* Able to manage multiple projects within a busy, fast-paced environment.
