Building Surveyor

A leading construction and facilities management company is seeking a skilled Building surveyor to join the Carlisle division, on a full time, permanent basis. . This is an excellent opportunity for a surveyor looking to play a key role in delivering property repair, reinstatement, and small works projects across the region.

Responsibilities:

* Carrying out site inspections and property surveys

* Preparing schedules of works, specifications, and cost estimates

* Producing quotations, valuations, and project cost plans

* Managing project budgets and controlling costs throughout the lifecycle of works

* Liaising with insurers, loss adjusters, clients, and contractors

* Reviewing subcontractor quotations and managing supplier performance

* Monitoring project progress, quality, and delivery against agreed programmes

* Providing technical guidance and support to operational teams

* Customer care

Requirements:

* Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Building Surveyor, Commercial Surveyor, or similar role

* Knowledge of building repairs, refurbishment, and reinstatement works

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

* The ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively

* A full UK driving licence
