Role Overview

The role will involve overseeing day-day running of the internal fit-out including reporting back to the Site

Manager & PM.

The successful candidate will be required to have previous experience working on large scale residential

schemes with labour levels more than 100 and 10-20 Subcontractors at peak. Strong personality to challenge

supply chain and staff members to ensure the successful running of the programme. This role will involve

directly managing 10-12 internal contractors at peak including QA of all elements. The candidate would be

taking the building from internal drylining 1st fix through to PC.

Key Skills

* Able to plan works, complete look-aheads and ensure materials/labour are in hand.

* Input in internal sub-contract packages and scopes of works to ensure all items have been included.

* Experience in all internal trades such as MEP 1st & 2nd fix, carpentry, flooring, lift installation etc

* Be able to liaise with the logistics team and contractors’ supervisors to ensure works are being

completed efficiently

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy

* Ability to work to tight deadlines and achieve targets

* Proficient using Microsoft Office Word, Outlook, Excel, Procore

* Input in the daily briefings to ensure works are planned and co-ordinated between all parties.

* Confident in leading & chairing meetings including writing effective meeting minutes for external works.

* Ability to plan co-ordinate multiple trades in logistically challenging environments.

* In-depth knowledge of all current building regulations

* Experience in dealing Warranty provider, client Clerk of Works & Golden thread.

* Confidence in dealing with client team.

* Detailed understanding of H&S requirements (access, working at heights, PPE, permit systems)

* SMSTS trained

* Commercial awareness.

* Ability to interrogate Contractor & subcontractor programmes.

* Good understanding of site safety requirements
