Senior Engineer – £50m Industrial Unit

We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Engineer to join the delivery team on a £50 million industrial unit development in Nottingham.

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a flagship project from the early stages, working with a leading main contractor on a large-scale industrial scheme.

The Role

As Senior Engineer, you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of the project, taking responsibility for engineering activities across the site and supporting the project team from groundworks through to completion.

Key responsibilities include:

* Managing and coordinating all site engineering activities

* Setting out and overseeing subcontractor works

* Reviewing drawings and resolving technical queries

* Producing and managing QA documentation

* Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme and specification

* Coordinating with the Site Manager, Project Manager and design team

* Mentoring Site Engineers where required

* Maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and quality

About You

* Proven experience as a Senior Engineer on large industrial, commercial or logistics projects

* Strong setting out and surveying background

* Excellent knowledge of QA procedures and construction standards

* Confident managing technical issues and coordinating subcontractors

* Able to work collaboratively within a busy site team

* CSCS card essential

* SMSTS or SSSTS desirable
