Are you an experienced Domestic Gas Service & Repair Engineer looking for a permanent position with excellent opportunities to develop your skills in the growing renewable energy sector?

R9 Recruitment is partnering with a reputable Social Housing gas and heating specialists that continues to grow year after year. Due to ongoing contract wins, we're looking for an experienced PAYE Domestic Gas Engineer to join a successful team delivering services to a well-established Social Housing contract across the Cardiff/Newport area.

What's on Offer?

* Basic Salary: £40,000 – £43,000 depending on exp/qualifications

* Realistic Earnings: £55,000+ per year including call out

* On-call rota: 1 week in 4

* Permanent PAYE position

* Consistent, local work, one postcode area per day

Your Day-to-Day

* Diagnosing and repairing domestic heating systems

* Carrying out Landlord Gas Safety Checks (LGSRs)

* Delivering outstanding customer service to tenants

* Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently

What We're Looking For

* Minimum 5 years' experience in gas service and repair

* Unvented qualifications

* Air-source Heat Pump quals or experience (minimal amount required)

* F-GAS – Preferred but not essential

* Valid ACS Qualifications (CKR1 & HTR1)

* Full UK Driving Licence

* Clean DBS check
