Senior Engineer – Industrial Build (Stevenage)
Salary: £60,000 – £80,000 + £500/£550 car allowance
Contract: Permanent

A leading main contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join a live industrial warehouse project in Stevenage.

This is a permanent role with an immediate start available.

This is a hands-on site-based position where the Senior Engineer will be responsible for setting out, quality assurance, record keeping, issuing of permits to break ground, and producing as-built information.

Key responsibilities:

All site-based engineering duties

*

Setting out and surveying

*

QA documentation and records

*

Coordination with site teams and subcontractors

*

Issuing permits and ensuring safe systems of work

Ideal candidate profile:

Proven experience in industrial or commercial sector projects

*

Strong background in earthworks, civil packages, drainage, and external works

*

CAT & Genny trained

*

Capable of both site and administrative tasks
