Ground Worker

We are seeking dedicated Groundworkers for rail projects in Exeter.

Responsibilities:

* Excavate and prepare sites for construction, ensuring compliance with safety regulations

* Install drainage systems and other underground utilities as required

* Assist in the laying of foundations and other groundwork tasks

* Operate machinery and tools safely and effectively

* Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met

* Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times

Qualifications:

* Previous experience in groundwork or a related field, preferably through an internship

* Knowledge of health and safety regulations in construction

* Valid PTS Sentinel card

* CSCS or CPCS qualification

* Ability to operate relevant machinery and tools

* Strong teamwork and communication skills

* Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions

The contract will be for approximately 3 months beginning near the end of August, and will be Mon-Fri on days 07:00 – 17:00
