Job Title: Senior Electrical Project Engineer
Location: Ipswich
Salary: £75,000 + Car allowance + 11.5% pension

The Role:

– Overseeing the Electrical package for the project from pre-construction phase all the way through to handover
– Must have operations experience
– Managing Electrical sub-contractors Inc. specialists
– Overseeing the Electrical Supervisors/Site Managers
– Liaising with Mechanical engineers & Managers
– Managing interfaces with existing client facilities
– Procurement (managing material levels and working with suppliers)
– Production of RAMS and paperwork associated with construction processes and procurement
– Reporting to the Senior Project Manager

– Project values in excess of £20 million pounds
– This company has a turnover of £4.5 billion
– This hire is due to the company winning a large number of MOD contracts
– The company has £16 billion pounds worth of work in the pipeline for 2026/2027

The Ideal Candidate:

– Will have 5+ years’ experience in the Electrical industry
– Will have previous experience working as an Electrical Construction/Site Manager
– Will have previous experience working on commercial projects.
– Will hold a JIB/Skill card & SSSTS/SMSTS
– Will work well under pressure to meet deadlines
– Will have excellent communication skills
– Will be able to Commute to Ipswich
